How your data is handled
Batch history and costs are commercially sensitive, so how they are handled is agreed in writing before you send anything, not negotiated mid-project. This page summarises that agreement.
One extract, no system access
You choose what to export, and you send it. I never need a login to your ERP, your network or your plant systems.
Deleted when the work ends
Your extract and anything I derive from it stay on my own machine, and I delete them at the end of the engagement, or sooner if you ask.
Analysis tools
Some of the analysis is done with AI tools, because they let me explore your data in more depth and test the work more thoroughly. Before any data reaches them, I replace names and identifiers, such as customers, products, materials, suppliers and operators, with codes, and I only use providers whose terms rule out training on your data. If you'd rather I didn't use AI tools, say so before you send the extract.
Your NDA, if you want one
I'm happy to sign your NDA. Before any data changes hands, you also get a one-page data note that sets all of this out in writing.
Personal details, such as the names and contact details of the people I deal with, are covered separately by the privacy notice.
